Differentiate between Convergent, Divergent and Transform boundaries.

Convergent Plate Boundaries- These are margins where the plates move towards each other and part of the crust is subducted into the asthenosphere. Thus, it leads to destruction of crust. Divergent Plate Boundaries- These are margins where the plates move away from each other. It leads to eruption of magma from asthenosphere and its solidification. Thus, new crust is generated. Transform Boundaries- These are margins where the plates slide past each other without colliding.
