differentiate between converging and diverging lens

All the light rays meet at a converging lens while all the the rays come out of a single point as in the from a diverging lens..

converging lens r those lens at which the many light rays coming from different-different direction and meet at a single point.
where as the diverging lens r those lens at which the light rays go to different different direction from a single point
