Self pollination:
- It is the migration of pollengrains fron anther to stigma of same flower.
- Both anther and stigna mature at same time.
- It occurs in closed flower.
- It gives rise pure line.
Cross pollination:
- It is the migration of pollengrain from anther to stigma of another flower of another plant.
- The anther and stigma mature at different time.
- It occurs only when flower is open.
- It gives rises offspringes having variation.
