ionically bonded elements are electrolytes whereas covalentelly (by sharing) bonded elements are non electrolytes

In electrolytes ions are present but in non electrolytes ions are not present

Electrolytes can conduct electricity but non-electrolytes donot conduct electricity

Examples of electrolytes are sodium (Na+)
,potassium (K+)etc whereas non-electrolytes are table sugar..
