Endogenic force=are those ,which orginate in the interior of the earth and causes changes on the surface of the earth. Exogenic force =are those , which act on the surface of the earth and cause changes on the surface of the earth.

Endogenic Energy force and Exogenic Energy forces are:

Endogenic Energy force:

  • This is the inner force that exists in the depths of the Earth.
  • These forces are also known as 'constructive forces' as they perform auxiliary features on the surface of the earth.
  • A major source of energy behind the energy that drives endogenic movements is the internal heat of the earth.
  • Differences in temperature and pressure (temperature gradients or geothermal gradients and pressure gradients) between different layers of the earth cause the difference in density and this density difference creates normal currents.
  • Convection currents in the mantle drive lithospheric plates (crust and top coat) and the flow of lithospheric plates (tectonics) is the cause of endogenic movements.
  • Endogenic energy produces significant background effects only after causing sudden damage.

Examples:

  • Earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.

 Exogenic Energy forces :

  • This is the external force that works and works on the surface of the earth.
  • These forces are also known as ‘destructive forces’ as they sometimes cause damage to existing areas due to climate and erosion activities.
  • Climate, severe degradation, soil erosion, and depletion are the main exogenic processes.
  • All movement between the surface and the surface of the earth occurs due to fluctuations - from high to low levels, from high pressure to low pressure etc.
  • Exogenic energy derives its energy from the atmosphere determined by the storage energy from the sun and the gradient created by the tectonic factor.
  • Those surface slopes are mainly caused by tectonic elements or ground movements due to endogenic forces.
  • Exogenic energy creates significant changes over a period of thousands or millions of years.

Examples:

  • Winds, rivers, glaciers etc.
