both epidermal and cork cells are the outermost layer of skin of animals and plants respectively. These cells act as a protective layer for the body from various backgrounds.Also,
epidermal cells in animals acts as a sensitive organ whereas cork cells acts as protective layer from sunlight, cold and other tremendous Conditions to the plants.
