Floatation involves a state where up thrust/weight of displaced fluid is equal to the weight of
object. For sinking, the weight of object is greater than the up thrust;

WHEN THE BUOYANCY FORCE IS EQUAL TO OR LESSER THAN THE BODY WEIGHT,OBJECT FLOATS.
WHEN THE BUOYANCY IS MORE THAN TNE BODY WEIGHT THE OBJECT IMMERSES I.E.SINKS..
