  • Their main objective is banking.  
  • The indigenous bankers give loans from the money collected as deposits or in other ways.  
  • The indigenous bankers deal with various credit instruments of commercial bills, Hundis and more.

Moneylenders:

  • The money lenders have their business of lending money.  
  • They are not concerned with banking processes.
  • The money lenders have the only objective of lending money and they do that from their own funds.
  • The money lenders only conduct their business in cash.
