Difference Between Manures And Fertilisers :-

MANURES :

→ A manure is not very rich in essential plant nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.

→ A manure is a natural Substance obtained by the decomposition of animals wastes like cow dung and plant residues.

→ A manure is absorbed slowly by the plants by because it is not much soluble in water.

→ A manure provides a lot of organic matter like humus to the soil .

→ A manure is voluminous and bulky , so it is inconvenient to store, transport and apply to the crops.

→ A manure is not nutrient specific. it only removes the general deficiency of soil.

→ A manure is prepared in rural homes or fields.

FERTILISERS :

→ A Fertilisers is very rich in plant nutrients like nitrogen, Phosphorous and pottasium.

→ A Fertilisers is a salt or an organic Compound.

→ Being soluble in water , a Fertiliser is readily absorbed by the plants.

→ A fertliser does not provide any humus to the soil.

→ A fertliser is compact and concentrated, so it is easy to store, transport and apply to the crops.

→ A Fertiliser is nutrient specific. It can provide specifically nitrogen or Phosphorous or pottassium to the soil. as desired .

→ A fertliser is prepared in factories.
