Microsporogenesis >

When the anther develop a group of homogenous cells called sporogenous tissue develop and occupies the centre of each microsporangium.

As the anther develops then the cells of sporogenous tissue undergo meiotic divison to form microspores tetrads.

Simply - it is the process of formation of microspores from PMC through mmeiosis.

Megasporogenesis >The process of formation of megaspores from MMC is called megasporogenesis.

Hope it helps you! ✌

Question;

name the structures formed at the end of this two events.

Answer:

structure formed:

a. due to microsporogenesis :- microspores (pollen grains) are formed which lead to development of male gametophyte.

b. due to megasporogenesis :- megaspores are formed. Out of them, one megaspore leads to the development of female gametophyte (embryo sac).
