Answer:

The sum of 3consecutive multiples of 4 is 252 find the multiples

Let the three consecutive multiples of 4 be- 4(x-1), 4x and 4(x+1) Adding them, 4x -4 + 4x + 4x +4 = 444. 12x = 444. x= 37. The three consecutive multiples are - 4*37 = 148. 4*(37-1)= 144. 4*(37+1) = 152.

x=80.

second number = 80+4 = 84.

third= 80 + 8= 88.

let\ the\ first\ number\ be\ x.\\\\second\ number= x +4\\\\third \ number =  x+8           =   ( x+4+4)\\\\ x+ x+ 4+ x + 8= 252\\\\=> 3x +12 = 252\\\\=> 3x = 252- 12\\\\=> x = 240/3 =  80\\\\first\ number = 80\\\\second\ number = 80+4 = 84\\\\third\ number = 80+8 = 88\\\\80 + 84+ 88 = 252\\\\therefore\ 80, 84\ and\ 88\ are\ the\ 3\ consecutive\ multiples\ of\ 4 \ whose \ sum\ is\ 252.\\\\hope \ it \ helps \ !!
