differentiate between minimising a window and closing a window

Minimising is just a process in which the windows is minimised, all apps runs in background but they don't show!!

when we minimize a windows, then the work which we were doing runs in a background.

Closing windows is a process in which the specific windows is closed, when this windows is closed, then apps can't be run in background.

Apps doesn't runs in background after closing windows!!
