Mixed cropping- Growing two or more crops on same piece of land is called mixed cropping. I'm not sure about examples- Sorghum+ wheat

Intercropping- Growing two or more crops on same piece on land in definite patterns and rows is called intercropping. Eg- wheat+ lobia

Cropping system implies a sequence and management, practised in a piece of land for cultivating crops, over time. The two most commonly contrasted cropping systems are mixed cropping and intercropping. Mixed cropping implies a cropping technique in which different types of crops are cultivated together.
