ok.see if it is morning the shadow will be long and same during evening too as the angle of sun is low then the shadow length incerases.but in noon you observe the shadow will be small and round in a small place as the sun is top on our head which is 90°.think you understood

Relating this with our real life. We all know that the length of the shadow in the morning is longest and when the time passes and sun comes to top of of head shadow becomes smallest of all time. Then again till evening length of the shadow starts increasing.
In Morning Angle of elevation of sun is 0° and inm the afternoon angle of elevation becomes 90°.
So, From Angle of Elevation from 0° to 90°, Length of the shadow decreases.
