The nucleus is a membrane-bound organelle within the cytoplasm where the genome is housed in a eukaryote. Thenucleoid region is just the spot in thecytoplasm of a prokaryotic cell where the genome happens to be hanging out -- the genome is not separated from the rest of the cytoplasm by any membrane

okay so basically,

nucleoside consist of a nitrogenous base which is attached covalently to sugar without any phosphate group!

however nucleotide consist of a nitrogenous base, sugar and one or three phosphate groups.

the basic difference is that of phosphate groups.

hopefully it helps:)
