differentiate between nucleus and nucleoid

The Nucleus is a membrane bound organelle Within the cytoplasm where the Genome is housed in a eukaryotic cell.
The Nucleoid is just the spot in the cytoplasm of a prokaryotic cell where the genome happens to be hanging out.
