Differentiate between oxides of metals and oxides of non- metals by giving examples.

Oxides of metals are basic in nature and Oxides of non-metals are acidic in nature.
Examples:
Metallic oxides: Magnesium Oxide, Ferrous Oxide
Non-metallic oxides: Carbon Dioxide, Nitrogen dioxide
