The number of people or the population has changed with time. There are a lot of mouths to feed, so to cater to those needs the trend of agriculture has also changed.

If we look at the old times there were people who had their own farms and they would grow their food
themselves but since there are more people to feed now and we need more food so there is an advancement in the ways of producing food.

Farmers now use motorized equipment, modified houses for the animals to improve the agricultural practices. Using motorized equipment speed up the production of food. Whereas in past farmers used to work with their hands or horse-drawn
equipment and it was easier at that time because the sizes of farms were smaller at that time.

And animals in the past were not very healthy as they were not given much attention, now animals are kept under more comfortable atmosphere and nutritionists look after them to see if they are eating well. With the help of houses farmers keep their chickens inside them, this way they grow better and they are also safe from the foxes and diseases which could be transferred from wild birds.

The concept of
Biotechnology has also been introduced to save the crops from natural conditions like floods and drought. Now the seeds are designed in a way that they can handle even the worst weather conditions and farmers are able to provide public with food.
