Answer:

hi here's ur answer

Explanation:

  • The Human Development Report (HDR) is an annual milestone published by the Human Development Report Office of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). As of 2013 the last decade saw convergence in human development indicators (HDI) values globally, although progress was uneven within and between regions. This notion of development implies leading a good quality life where individuals develop themselves to the fullest.

It includes providing good education, health facilities. This gives us a broader picture of development as specified by Human Development index. It includes the qualitative aspect of development.

  • Per capita income is the measurement of money earned per person in a certain zone. In layman terms, we can say that “Per Capita income is the Income supposedly earned by a single person in a country.” It is calculated by dividing country's national income by its population.
  • (i) Per capital income is the average income of a country.
  • (ii) Per capital income criteria takes into account only the economic aspect of life and ignores the social, aspect of life.
  • (iii) Per capita income criteria ignores education, health, life expectancy, sanitation etc.
  • (iv) Per capita income criteria also ignores non material things like peace, pollution free environment, democracy, etc.
  • (v) Though Punjab has higher per capital income as compared to Kerala but it has been ranked lower on Human Development Index because it is far behind than Kerala in literacy rate and has higher infant mortality rate than Kerala.

Answer:

here's few things to consider which is a difference between per capita national income and Human Development approaches.

Explanation:

  • The average income per person in a specific area (city, region, nation, etc.) for a given year is measured by per capita income (PCI), also known as total income.
  • The Human Development Index (HDI) is a metric the UN established to assess and evaluate the social and economic development of nations.
  • The per capital income criteria solely considers the economic side of life while ignoring the social side. The qualitative component of development is included in the Human Development Index.

This idea of growth refers to living a good quality life in which people fully develop themselves.
