Differentiate between Permanent Tissues & Vascular Tissues:

Permanent Tissue:

• This is the tissue which consists of homogeneous cell which do the same functions.
• There are three types of permanent tissues i.e., Parenchyma, Collenchyma and Sclerenchyma.
• Parenchyma helps in the photosynthesis, secretion and food storage of the plants.
• Collenchyma is the living cells which also help in the photosynthesis. But the Sclerenchyma is the dead cell.

Vascular tissue:

• This is the tissue composed of different cell types and the functions of the cells are also different.

• Xylem and phloem are vascular tissues. Xylem is responsible to transport water and minerals from root to the various parts of the plants.

• Phloem is the tissue which is responsible to carry food from the leaves to the plant body.
