Differentiate between Permanent Tissues & Vascular Tissues:
Permanent Tissue:
- This is the tissue which consists of homogeneous cell which do the same functions.
- There are three types of permanent tissues i.e., Parenchyma, Collenchyma and Sclerenchyma.
- Parenchyma helps in the photosynthesis, secretion and food storage of the plants.
- Collenchyma is the living cells which also help in the photosynthesis. But the Sclerenchyma is the dead cell.
Vascular tissue:
- This is the tissue composed of different cell types and the functions of the cells are also different.
- Xylem and phloem are vascular tissues. Xylem is responsible to transport water and minerals from root to the various parts of the plants.
- Phloem is the tissue which is responsible to carry food from the leaves to the plant body.
