Pesticides

1.Pesticides are substances that are meant to control pests, including weeds.
2.The term pesticide includes all of the following: herbicide, insecticides nematicide, molluscicide, piscicide, avicide.

3. Types: 

Insecticides - insects.

Herbicides - plants.

Rodenticides - rodents (rats and mice)

Bactericides - bacteria.

Fungicides - fungi.

Larvicides - larvae.

4.Pesticides are used to control various pests and disease carriers, such as mosquitoes, ticks, rats and mice.


Weedicides

1. Weedicides are the chemicals which are sprayed over field to get rid of weeds.

2.These unwanted plants were previously removed by large tractors with implements called "cultivators".

3.Different types of weed eliminating sprays are specifically formulated to target different types of weeds.

4. "Weedicides", or herbicides are traditionally used commercially by farmers to maximize their crop production by eliminating or reducing weed populations amongst their crops.
