HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

■ROASTING-
The sulphide ore is converted into oxide ore by heating strongly in the presence of excess air. this process is known as roasting..

☆REACTION -
2 ZnS (s ) + 3 O2 (g) ---------heat-------> 2 ZnO (s) + 2 SO2 (g)

■CALCINATION -
The carbonate ore is changed into oxide by heating strongly in limited supply of air

☆REACTION-
ZnCO3 ---heat ---------> ZnO (s) + CO2 (g)

■ZINC EXTRACTED FROM ITS ORES-
zinc is extracted
through carbon reduction of the ore zinc blende ZnS ore by especially designed blast furnaces. Ore forms froth and comes to the surface and impurities are left behind in water..
The concentrated ore is heated in a blast furnaces at 900 degree Celsius where zinc sulphate is converted to zinc oxide....
