Scalar quantity have only magnitude.
Vector quantity have both magnitude and direction.

Scalar quantities have only direction Eg.- Speed.
While Vector quantities have both direction as well as magnitude Eg.-Velocity.
speed have no direction
Oops I was to write magnitude sorry. Scalar quantities have only magnitude while vector have both magnitude as well as direction.
