Self Pollination
- Transfer of pollens from stamen to stigma of the same plant
- Directly shed into the stigma
- Seen in small flowers
- Mode of reproduction would be autogamy
Cross Pollination
- Transfer of pollens from stamen of one plant to stigma of another plant of same species
- Transmitted by air,water and insects
- Seen in large flowers
- Mode of reproduction would be allogamy
