Answer:The difference between shutdown and logout is when you shut down everything stops running and the PC is powered off.Logout will logout your session but the computer will remain running.

SHUTDOWN will lead to power off of your computer and your computer will be turned offf...

WHETHER LOGOUT will lead to sign out of the account which u are currently using and will lead to closing of running apps not the computer.
