Differentiate between South-west monsoon and north-east monsoon.

Northeast monsoon or Amihan features moderate temperatures, little or no rainfall and prevailing winds from the east. Usually, it starts sometime in September or October and ends in May or June. However, there are variations of this occurrence every year. Whilst, Southwest monsoon or Habagat brings heavy rainfall that result to flood during wet season.
