A state party us a regional party which does not hold seats in majority of the states.
A national party holds seats in majority of the states.
A state party holds six percent seats in the legislative assembly whereas a national party holds six percent seats in the lok sabha.
The state party have to get at least two seats in the legislative assembly.
Whereas the national party have to get at least four seats in the lok sabha.
