Answer: i. Peepal leaf : Reticulate venation

Onion leaf : Parallel  venation

ii. Venus flytrap : leaf modification for capturing insects - insectivorous plants

Opuntia : Leaf spines - for protection and reducing loss of water

Explanation:

Reticulate venation - Veins in a leaf form a network of veins and veinlets, it is found in leaves of dicot plants

Parallel  venation (veins run parallel to each other towards the margin or the tip of the leaf, found in leaves of monocot plants

leaf modification for capturing insects - insectivorous plants -green plants and can manufacture their own food. They grow in places where the mineral nitrogen is low in the soil. In order to meet the nitrogen requirement, they feed on insects. their leaves are modified in such a way that they can help in trapping insects.

Leaf spines - for protection and reducing loss of water -  Leaves gets modified and redued in size. It becomes spiney to protect the plant from grazing animals and their spines also help in reducing the loss of water in these plants
