Differentiate between the leadership, demands and  methodology of Moderates and Radicals.

Explanation:

The Moderates and Radicals were two ideological groups that existed during the Indian national movement. The basic difference among these two group were their ways of achieving freedom.

Leaders like W.C. Banerjee, Dadabhai Naoroji, Feroze Shah Mehta, and Gopalakrishna Gokhale, were the Moderates while leaders like Lala Lajpat Rai, Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Bipin Chandra Pal were known to be radicals.

The moderates and the radical had very different demands and methods of attaining freedom. The moderates mostly wanted constitutional reforms and more India national in the administration of the country. on the other hand, the radicals demanded full-fledged independence and wanted the British to end their control completely.

The moderates used dialogues, protest, petitions, reconciliation, etc to make their demands while the radicals had a direct confrontation approach. they used militant retaliation, non cooperation, boycott, violent and aggressive protests, etc, ton achieve their demands.
