Difference between TOPSOIL & SUBSOIL

  1. Top soil is the upper most soil and subsoil is the soil below top soil.
  2. SUBSOIL contains silt, clay etc. but topsoil doesn't.
  3. TOPSOIL is much fertile then the subsoil as it contains more organic matters.
  4. Scientists name the topsoil as soil 'A' and subsoil as 'B'
  5. SUBSOIL contains too much sand but topsoil not.
