liquid state:the molecules are loosely packed...less intermolecular space btw them.
gaseous state: the molecules are loosely packed as compared to solids and liquids.

LIQUIDS:-
Arrangment of molecules in liquids is loosely packed.Intercellular spaces are present(less).
GASES:-
