◆Unitary form of government.....
In a unitary government the power is in central hand only.
States do Not have any role in taking any major decision.
The powers are not shared.
Ex... UK etc..
◆Federal form of government....
I'm federal form of government there is different tiers if government.
State and local levels are given right to take decision for their people.
The powers are shared.
Ex.. India, Belgium etc..

In either there is only one level of government or other levels are subordinate to the central government. The Central government can pass orders to the sub-units.
