Khadar -1. newer type of alluvial soil
2. Formed of fine silt and clay
3. Found in lower valley region, deltaic regions, flood plains and plateaus etc.
4. It is more fertile
5. It is yellowish in colour
6. It is soft, porous.
Bhangar

2. It is formed of pebbles , kankar and big rock particles.
3 . Found in upper valley regions
4. It is less fertile
5. It is grey in colour
6. It is somewhat hard and non porous
