Explanation:

given: y = a + bx + cx^2 , a,b and are constants

dy/dx = d(a)/dx + d(bx)/dy + d(cx^2)/dx

dy/dx = 0 + b + c*2x [ derivative of a constant is always zero ]

= 2xc + b [ derivative of x wrt to x is one and derivative of x^2 wrt x is 2x ]

answer is 2xc + b
