Differentiate with respect to x

 \frac{d( \frac{x + 1}{x + 2} )}{dx}

On applying division rule of diffrentiation in this problem we get,

  = ( \frac{(x + 2) \frac{d(x + 1)  }{dx}  - (x + 1) \frac{d(x + 2)}{dx} }{(x + 2)^{2} } )

After putting all this in formula we get,

 =  \frac{(x + 2) \times 1 - (x + 1)  \times 1}{ (x + 2)^{2} }  \\  =  \frac{x + 2 - x - 1}{(x + 2)^{2} }  \\  =   \frac{1}{ {(x + 2)}^{2} }

So answer will be:

 \frac{1}{(x + 2)^{2} }
