Answer:

y = (1+4x^3)(1+2x^2)

we know,

if y = u.v

then, dy/dx= (u. dv/dx) + (v.du/dx)

☑ Differentiate wrt x

dy / dx = ( 1 + 4x^3 ) x ( 0 + 4x )

+ ( 1 + 2x^2 ) x ( 0 + 12x^2 )

= ( 1 + 4x^3 ) 4x + 12x^2 ( 1 + 2x^2 )

= 4x ((1 + 4x^3 ) + 3x ( 1 + 2x^2 ))
