Differentiati between converging lens and diverging lens

Converging lens converges the light rays incident on it at a single point

While diverging lens diverges the light rays incident on it

Converging lens is nothing but convex lens diverging lens is nothing but concave lens

Diverging lens is used is spectacles for Myopia or near sightedness while Converging  lens is used  for hypermetropia or long sightedness
