(1+x²)² = 1+x^4
differentiate = (1+x^4)-x = 1+x^4-x

hey there ,
let y = (1+x^2)^2

applying chain rule,

dy/dx = d(1+x^2)^2/dx = 2(1+x^2)×2x

so , dy/dx = 2x(1+x^2)
