Rusting is usually happens on a metal or alloy. It occurs when the metal comes in contact with oxygen and water, and other substances in the atmosphere for prolonged periods which causes some chemical reactions. .
Corrosion is a process in which metals, are deteriorated by the action of air, moisture, chemical etc. And corrosion of iron is called rusting.
