coal is black in colour. coal is a fuel which is used in cooking. it was also used to produce steam to run trains. it is also used in thermal power plants to produce electricity. coal is also used as fuel in various industries.

Coak :-

It is a tough, porous and black substance. It is an almost pure form of carbon. Coke is used in manufacture of steel and in the extraction of many metals.
