Chromoplasts :-
1.These are the plastids which appear to be orange-red in colour.
2. They are generally rich in carotenoid and lipids.
3. They do have a fixed shape.
4. They attract animals for pollination
Leucoplasts:-
1. They are the plastids which appear to be colourless.
2.They are generally found in some of the unexposed parts.
3.They have a regular shape which looks round in appearance.
4. They do not attract animals.
Chloroplasts :-
1.They are the plastids which appear to be green in colour.
2. They contain the green pigment chlorophyll which helps in the process of photosynthesis.
3. It is the site where light energy is converted into chemical energy
