Hello! Mate

Here is your answer :-

In physiology, a stimulus (plural stimuli) is a detectable change in the internal or external environment. The ability of an organism or organ to respond to external stimuli is called sensitivity. When a stimulus is applied to a sensory receptor, it normally elicits or influences a reflex via stimulus transduction.

Hope this helps you!

Sensitivity :

Itis this sudden change in the environment of a living organism which triggers a response towards the change is called as sensitivity.

Stimuli :

  • Thechange in the environment to which living organism respond are called stimuli.
  • Heat, cold, sound , smell, taste, touch, pressure, gravity, water, etc. are examples of stimuli.
  • Living organisms respond to stimuli in the form of body movements.

Coordination :

  • Many body organs work together in coordination to bring about a proper response to the stimulus and it is called coordination.
  • In animals, control and coordination is brought about by endocrine system and nervous system.
  • In transformer control and coordination is done by phytohormones or plant hormones.
