According to Lanten heat solid will convert into liquid at specific temperatures, whereas Liquid will convert into gaseous state.

The difference between solid and liquid are that Solid have molecules that are closely bound together and On the other hand,Liquid have molecules that are temporarily bound and move freely around each other.
