Communicable Diseases:- The diseases which can be spread with physical contact with the affected person is called communicable diseases.
Non-Communicable diseases:- These cannot be spread by any contact with affected persons.

  • Communicable diseases are are transmitted to other persons, either by physical contact with the person suffering the disease, or by casual contact with their secretions or objects touched by them or airborne route among other routes. An example of a communicable disease is  Malaria.  
  • A non-communicable disease is a disease that is not transmissible directly from one person to another. lt is mostly caused by the deficiency/excess of several nutrients or minerals. An examples of a non - communicable disease is Scurvy.
