Cyberbullying refers to the bullying that happens online. This could happen in the form of posting mean messages, socially outcasting people from groups, creating false profiles about someone, posting inappropriate pictures, videos or information about the person. The primary difference between the two is that while cyberbullying happens online, bullying happens in the physical world- at schools, parks and other places. While bullying just gets limited to these places and certain times, cyberbullying happens in personal online spaces and can affect a person 24/7. Both are equally harmful and can cause long term harm to a person.
