Let y = 2 √cot(x^2)
Take y = 2√u where u= cot v where v = x^2
Then dy/dx = (dy/du)(du/dv)(dv/dx) by chain rule
=> dy/dx = 2(1/2√u)(-cosec^2 v)(2x)
= dy/dx = (1/√cot x^2)(-cosec^2 x^2)x^2
