  • It changes from place to place.

  • The place on the same longitude has the same local time.

  • The local time of the standard meridian of a country is called standard time.

  • It remains same for that particular ⓒⓞⓤⓝⓣⓡⓨ.

  • the place on the same longitude has the different standard time.

  • The main difference between local time and standard time is, the local time changes from a place to place, but the standard time remains fixed for the particular country.

  • As per local time, the place/location on the same longitude will have the same local time, but as per the standard time the place on the same longitude will have different standard time.

1) Local time implies the time of a place determined on the basis of apparent movement of the sun.

2) Changes continuously with the change in longitude.

4) Recognise by Shadow cast of the sun.

1) Standard time refers to the fixed time for places falling in the same meridian, set in a country by law.

2) Remains same for a particular country.

3) Places on the same longitude have different standard time.

4) Recognise by time zones.
