Difficulties faced by small farmer due to lake of capital

A small farmer does not have enough money to buy fertilizers, pesticides etc. so he borrows money from large farmers or money lenders at a very high rate of interest. Thus a small farmer has to live under tough conditions because all the agricultural activities like irrigation etc. are performed by himself.
