sky is breathable up to around 8km up space is essentially devoid of gas . sky is blue but space is no colour . the sky has some radiation in it mostly in form of cosmic and direct radiation from the sun .

Sky is a part of our Earth's atmosphere that contains several gases formed in layers.

Space has no such free gases, it is medium of vacuum which we can't breathe and is not a part of any planet.
