the actual resources of a country are thise which have been thoroughly surveyed and their quantities have been ascertained.

eg.) saudi arabia has 25.9percent of the world oil reserves.

b) POTENTIAL RESOURCES-

available resources of a country ehich are fully tapped are known as potential resourses.

eg.) arctic sea bed may hold as much as 25percent of world's undiscovered oil and natural gas preserves.

resources which are obtained from biosphere and have live( living organisms ) are known as biotic resources.

eg.) birds, animal, humans, etc.

b) ABIOTIC RESOURCES-
